The Communication

 The Pastor’s Corner

Our appreciation as a church goes to several groups in our congregation for a splendid Lent/Easter season. The hospitality committee served a morning breakfast plus did a splended job with our Wednesday dinner during Holy Week. The choir inspired us every Sunday and led us in a meaningful service of worship with communion on Wednesday. The building and grounds committee led in sprucing up the church property for spring. And also, Becky Ballos gave great direction and energy to our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. Our church is so blessed to have capable and caring leaders. Thanks.

April 14 Rev. Wesley Garrett will be our guest minister. Wesley leads important work in south Richmond ministering to people in need with the help of the Baptist Church in the River City Faith Network. He is a good man and an inspirational preacher.

Please turn the page.

I will be out of town that weekend for the joyous occasion of my daughter Christin’s wedding in Myrtle Beach.

Ladies please continue signing up for the Women’s Conference April 28-29. It is going to be a really good weekend.
