The Chiming of the Hour
The Call to Worship Thankful
The Opening Sentence
You have turned my mourning into dancing;
You have taken off my sackcloth
And clothed me with joy.
So that my soul may praise you and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever.
Psalm 30: 11-12
The Greeting and the Lord’s Prayer Jo Pennington
The Opening Hymn # 637 Come, Ye Thankful People, Come
The Scripture Lesson Psalm 100
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
Come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
And his courts with praise;
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
His faithfulness continues through all generations.
This is the word of the Lord.
Thanks be to God.
