The Pastor’s Corner
Spring is making a welcome entrance to our area just as we look forward to the celebration of Easter. I hope you will be a part of our worship and celebration of the resurrection of our Lord.
God has been moving in the lives of people at our church. People have been encouraged, proven faithful in tough circumstances and experienced renewal in the faith. I appreciate your faithfulness in having a wonderful spirit of cooperation with the Wednesday night dinners. Also, you are working on financial faithfulness during the lingering difficult economy. Remember families severely affected by job loss and the slow economy, it is a real struggle for many in our country and community.
Easter is the first Sunday in April and we will look at the central truth of the resurrection every Sunday in April. May God grow us in understanding, devotion, and service to the Risen Christ.

From our Minister of Children, Youth and Young Adults
Easter is a time of reflection and remembrance of our Savior, but it is even deeper than that. The passion that Christ had for us on the cross has never or will never be duplicated by anyone else. It is completely unique and surpasses all our human capacity to love and to grasp sacrifice in that way. Each time you think about how Jesus saved you, it should leave you in complete awe. The journey to the cross was dark and agonizing, but He prayed to God in the garden, “yet not my will, but yours be done.” Why? Because He loves you so much and was willing to go through anything to save you. So may you this Easter season be surrounded by such an amazing love, and be overwhelmed by the grace that Jesus continues to pour into your life! Blessed Easter to you all !!!
