The Pastor’s Corner
Thank you to the folks who have completed the Church Survey. If you have not done a survey please complete this simple survey and turn it in to the office or during a worship service. Thanks.
The church is posting signs on our property clearly establishing boundaries for people not using the property after hours. These steps were taken in response to folks using our property at night for unproductive purposes. Our community is welcome to use our property for walks, the playground, picnics, prayer, etc. We rightly should not be a location for drug deals and alcohol consumption.
Our church is more user friendly for sure with the addition of the new awnings over the entrances to our church. For the good number of members who move slow and require walkers this should be a particular blessing.
Mark your calendar for October 14, 2017. This is a Saturday and we are hosting one of the most well-known gospel groups in the country. We have scheduled The Dixie Melody Boys for a 3:30 pm concert on the church grounds. We want you to come and bring friends. We can use a team of volunteers to help that day with parking and logistics. Our prayer and belief is that we could have 300-400 folks for this event. Let’s believe God will enable us to have a great day of fellowship, music and celebration. Remember October 14.
Enjoy your summer and remember the church in your faithful living.
