Homebound Members

Remember our homebound members this week in prayer.  Take time to send a card or call to Mr. William Jennings, Symphony Manor, 12411 Gayton Road, Henrico, VA 23238.

Wonderful Wednesday Dinner with Santa

Dinner will be served at 6 o’clock on Wednesday in the Wright Fellowship Hall.  The menu:  Chicken Tenders, Tato Tots, Green Beans, Fruit, Rolls, Dessert. Make your reservation by signing the list posted on the back hall bulletin board or by calling the church office by 10:00 am on Monday.

7:30 p.m. Choir Rehearsal

Thursday – Choir Sings at the Airport for the Troops – 5:30 – 6:30 PM

Everyone is invited to come out, hear the music and help give out the gift bags that have been prepared for the troops. They will be in the American Airlines area.  If you have signed up to ride in the vans, please be at the church no later than 3:45 p.m. as they will leave at 4 o’clock.

Mission Action

This month we are making snack packs for the homeless.  It is easy to do and we would love your help.  Take a gallon size zip bag and fill it with: 1 breakfast bar, pop tart or power type bar;  1 pop top or hand held soup; 1 peanut butter crackers; 1 snack item, cookies, chips etc.; 1 potted meat or Vienna sausage; 1 apple sauce, small fruit cup or raisins; 1 juice box/small drink; napkin, plastic fork or spoon.  Leave your bags in the Sunday School office mission action box.

Gift Baskets

We are gathering items to fill baskets that our deacons will deliver to our homebound members this Christmas.  If you would like to help, check out the suggested list in the December Communicator or bring things you think they would enjoy.  You may leave them in the Sunday School office.

There are large envelopes to receive your Christmas Cards for the homebound on the table in the fellowship hall by the piano.

The Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service…

.. will begin at 5:30 PM on the 24th.   Bring family and friends for this beautiful service of worship with music and communion!
